AMERICA’S MAYOR LIKENS BUSH’S VISION TO
THAT OF CHURCHILL AND REAGAN – SHOWS THAT KERRY HAS NO CLEAR
OR CONSISTENT VISION
Before September 11, we viewed the world as if
observing Europe appease Hitler or trying to accommodate peaceful
co-existence with the Soviet
Union through mutually assured destruction.
Since 9/11 President Bush remains rock solid, it doesn't matter
how the media demonizes, ridicules or tries to defeat him. They ridiculed
Winston Churchill, belittled Ronald Reagan.
Winston Churchill saw the dangers of Hitler – opponents called
him a war-mongering gadfly.
If Britain had supported Churchill – during Hitler’s
rise to power – Chamberlain would not have betrayed the
world at Munich -- World War II would have been avoided (editor)
Ronald
Reagan saw the Soviet Union as "the evil empire." The
world accepted accommodation and belittled Reagan’s intelligence.
America supported Reagan – he won the cold war (editor)
President Bush sees world terrorism for the evil that it is. Kerry
has no such clear, precise and consistent vision.
In calculating
his run for President, Kerry voted for the war. Nine months later,
he voted against funding our troops, declared
himself an anti-war candidate. Now, he says he's pro-war again – but
that may change.
President Bush will make certain that we are combating terrorism
at the source, beyond our shores, so we can reduce the risk
of having to confront it in the streets of New York.
John Kerry's record of inconsistent positions on combating
terrorism gives us no confidence he'll pursue such a determined
course.
